Care Guide

DISCLAIMER NOTICE: WE DO NOT RECOMMEND WASHING CLIMBING SHOES

Washing your climbing shoes, synthetic or leather, can cause the materials to breakdown faster and the glue to delaminate. Rather than washing your shoes we suggest wiping the inside of the shoes with disinfectant wipes or spray and setting them out to air dry. If you insist on washing your shoes, we suggest hand washing them with cold water and light detergent. Do not use anything abrasive on the shoes like a brush to scrub, you can lightly wipe the inside with a soft cloth then set them out to air dry. DO NOT DRY YOUR SHOES IN THE SUN OR WITH A HAIRDRYER.

DO NOT WASH LEATHER SHOES

Leather shoes can’t be washed, they will stretch, and the color will bleed onto your feet dying them all sorts of colors.

GENERAL EVERYDAY CARE ADVISE:

After any climbing session open your shoes as much as possible to air out, you can also invest in some fragrant shoe inserts which will help with smell as well as drying out any moisture from sweat.

HEAT WILL DESTROY YOUR SHOES

Keeping your shoes in your car is a bad idea! Car temperatures fluctuate which can cause your rubber to deoxidize or your glue to delaminate. Meaning you are literally ruining your poor shoes that work so hard to help you send.
